ABC of Good Colon Hygiene

Diet Analysis and Correction
Diet analysis will aid in determining the source of many colon problems. For example, it is important for many clients to identify stress foods, as well as to balance fiber intake and to increase consumption of foods with active enzymes, especially vegetables. An examination of beverage intake and food combinations may prove useful. We are what we assimilate.

Oral Cleansing
Oral cleansing refers to any program for cleansing the digestive system by oral ingestion instead of by rectan insertion. Herbal bowel and blood cleansers, fiber bulking agents, bentonite liquid, alkalizing green juices, enzymes, beneficial bacteria and raw juices are all considered to be oral cleansers. For some people, a juice fast is the most efficient way to cleanse the cells and intestines. We also provide excellent cleanse kits complete with instructions such as Abena's cleanse, metabolism and enzymes lines.

Colonics
We see the greatest results with our clients who complete a series of 6-15 colonics over a 3 to 8 week period. This can be repeated twice per year with no adverse side effects. Each client has different needs and it's best to determine the right program for you by discussing it with a therapist at your first session.

Flora Replenishment
From the use of antibiotics, poor diet and coffee consumption, many people lack beneficial intestinal bacteria. After your colonics, we recommend a rebalancing of the internal environment by supplementing with acidophilus and electrolytes. For increased renewal, L-glutamine can be added.
