Why Cleanse the Colon?
In today's society the refined foods we eat lack the bulk and fibre to create the cleansing and peristaltic motion which facilitates the movement of the food through the colon. High intake of salt and sugar, refined flour, hardened fats, caffeine, stress, antibiotics, and chronic dehydration all contribute to constipation and bowel disorders.
When cooked, devitalized food, salt and protein consumption is too high, plaque will adhere to the walls through the action of ionization and thus cover over the villi (minute intestinal projections which pick up nourishment from the food we eat). When these are covered over for many years the plaque becomes putrid and releases toxic, foul poisons back into the portal vein, which takes it to the liver. The poison is circulated throughout the entire system, weakening all the main organs of the body, and providing "homes" for parasites.
Side effects of a poor functioning colon:
“The skin becomes sallow, wrinkled and unhealthy. The digestive organs become overworked and bloated. The lungs become congested and breath has a foul odor. The heart is overworked and becomes weak. We feel and look old, our glands become tired. We lack enthusiasm and sexual desire.”
